Troop 352 News

Venture Crew Sign-ups

Our Venturing crew is beginning to plan their year and would like to invite other scouts to join. If you are 14 or older and Star, Life or Eagle rank; please talk to the members of the Venturing Crew to discuss the fun they have.

You will be a member of both Troop 352 and Crew 352. Belonging to a crew will not slow your boy scout rank advancement, in fact, research has shown that it helps increase advancement and keeps scouts interested in their troop.

If you have any questions, please contact the Crew president, Jon Rusche, or Mr. Hassman to learn more about our awesome Crew.

Historical Merit Badge Program

Do not forget about the four historical merit badges that are available only during 2010.

Remember that all the requirements for the badges must be completed prior to December 31, 2010. For more information on these merit badges visit the Historical Merit Badge Program page at scouting.org

Just a reminder to all the Scouts who have earned (or will earn) Space Exploration and/or Astronomy during 2010, once you have a completed blue card you can present it to the attendant at the Scout Shop inside the Eykamp Scout Center to receive a copy of that merit badge book, autographed by Astronaut Story Musgrave.

Supplies are limited, so please don't delay if you have completed one of these merit badges.

Year of Celebration National Patch Program

You can find specifics about the requirements, and the reporting/ordering process online at Year of Celebration page at scouting.org.

This program is fun for all ages of Scouts and Scouters!

Please give this merit badge application to parents, relatives and friends who would like to help with Boy Scouts and our troop but don’t know where they can help. We all have talents, hobbies and interests that will benefit our scouts.

Check out this website to see the list and descriptions of all of the merit badges.
